All our butterfly valves come with an EPDM standard gasket. EPDM provides superior properties for high temperature applications and is resistant to animal and vegetable oils, ozone, steam, water, and oxygenated solvents.
EPDM has an excellent temperature range from -60 °F to +300 °F, however we recommend an operating temperature range from 15 °F to 200 °F.
EPDM is recommended for CIP Sanitizing Agent Oxonia and for ozone-treated water applications.
Silicone:
Operating temperature range from 15 °F to 200 °F.
Viton®:
Operating temperature range from 15 °F to 250 °F.
