Applications

Sanitary filters are mainly used to protect pumps, instrumentation andother equipment for proper operation. Thanks to their compact structure,strong filtering capacity, low pressure loss and convenient maintenance,they are widely applied in beverage, pharmaceutical, dairy and otherindustries.

Operating Principles

The filter consists of a filter body with an inlet and an outlet. A filter mesh isinstalled inside the filter body, which retains all particles equal to or largerthan the mesh size. When the pressure drop across the filter exceeds therequired limit, or when the filter element is damaged, you can remove it,clean or replace it with a new one, and reinstallitforreuse.

 

Selection Recommendations
Fine filtration(e.g., pharmaceutical liquids,beverage clarification):Prefer 100/165 mesh metal screens or wedge wire filter elements,with afiltration accuracy of 0.10-0.15mm

High-flow coarse filtration(e.g., raw water pre-treatment)
Choose perforated plate filer elements with an aperture size of 1-5mm,offering high pressure resistance and fast flow rate.

Continuous online filtration(e.g., CIP systems,self-cleaning filters):
Prefer wedge wire filter elements due to their excellent backwashing performance and long service lifi.

High-viscosity fluids(e.g.,syrup,oils):
Select wedge wire filter elements,as the slot structure resists clogging andensures stable flow.
